Anyway, by late morning it was clear that Maren's symptoms were not a reaction to dairy. She had a full-blown, steady-stream-of-snot-running-out-her-nose, feeling-like-crap, cold. Boo.
So, after a sleepless night I called the school to tell them that Henry was not coming in because I didn't feel like driving in 45 minutes of traffic with Miss Crabby Pants in the back seat.
So here we are, 3:00 PM, not showered, still in PJs, TV about to overheat. And yes--Maren is on my lap to spare you of the visual image of me not even putting on a bra yet today. That being said, enjoy the mental image.

I take full responsibility for the M&M incident... We must have caught the same thing since we've all been moping around feeling rotten all day... Darn church--maybe I'll have to find a new one that has no germs. ;)
AMEN!
Ah, Sarah. Your writings are a big breath of fresh air.
For the record, no one is dressed in this house before 10:30. Ever.
M&Ms are good. Your feet front and center in that picture are nasty.
Oh no! Colds are no fun! Hope Maren feels better soon!
Sarah,
I love your honest writing! I appreciate it even more now as a new mom! :)
Looks like a good day to me, except for the sick part. Hope she feels better.
My bad, you were right. Those are Henry's nasty feet.
