Emmy

When I was a little kid, I remember going into my mom's old secretary and digging out all of my siblings "baby books" on Sunday afternoons.  Don's was loaded with birth announcements, baby foot stamps, locks of hair, and of course, pictures.   Things started to fizzle out a bit by MaryBeth and Emma, and honestly, I'm not sure James and I, numbers 6 and 7 respectfully, even had books.  I guess that's just how it goes. 

I was always felt kind of annoyed that I got screwed in the baby picture department, but now I get it.  I went digging for Emmy pictures this morning and jeesh!  She's only number three and I had kind of a hard time finding some decent pictures to post.  Mom, you are forgiven.

I'll start with this video.  Henry has been bragging for years that he was the first to make Maren laugh.  Now that he's beat everyone to making Emmy laugh, I'm sure we'll never hear the end of it! (For the record, Grandpa Bill was the first to make her smile.)

Is there any wonder this kid still needs chiroptractic care? Aye caramba!

Oh, and before I forget.  Congratulations are in order for me and Randy.  We made a baby with a normal-sized head!  I took Emmy in to the pediatrician last week and her noggin was only in the 75th percentile.  Good job us!
