Going Commando

This morning while getting breakfast ready I came up behind Henry and "pants-ed" him (I pulled his pants down.) We actually both gave a little holler. He was surprised to have his pants pulled down, and I was somewhat surprised to find that he wasn't wearing any underwear. I laughed a little as I told Henry he needed to wear his unders. Henry was slightly embarrassed and the morning rolled on.

After breakfast I dressed Maren for church and set her in front of the TV and then ran to get dressed myself while Randy helped Henry get dressed. I came out of the bedroom a half hour later (5 minutes before we are supposed to walk out the door to make it to church on time) and find Maren looking all cute and ready to go (just as I left her a half hour earlier), Randy asleep on the chair-- tie not even tied, and Henry-- kind of dressed with socks on backwards, no shoes, no belt and hair sticking up every direction.

It gets better. I fixed Henry's socks, helped him with his shoes and then went to look for his belt. By now Randy is picking up on the fact that I'm about to blow and fixes his tie and gets a coat on Maren. I find Henry's belt and while I'm tucking his shirt in, I feel his bare arse. And then came the swears. I yell at Randy while dragging Henry into his room to dress him properly-- underwear and all. Randy started to defend himself and then just laughed. It took me a few more minutes before I could find the humor in the situation.

Oh, we actually did make it to church before the opening prayer!

Those kids are so cute! I especially loved the post about Henry's garbage lunch. Hilarious. Kacey is at the age where she wants to dress herself for church. She usually has on a pair of shiny shoes that are way too small, tights with a hole in the knee, and a dress that my mom bought that I secretly hate but don't have the heart to tell her.

I love that you say unders :) And where the hell did your kid learn to go commando? Seriously, that's gross.

I think its a boy thing to go commando. Jack loves to be without whatever clothes he can!

ok, so I don't know where your other story went about farting, but it made me laugh!!! love it. you know we have all had those moments and I love that you can write about them and it makes sense. When I try and write stories like that it just doesn't sound so funny anymore:)

It doesn't seem to matter if you have a boy or a man, it's all about their "goods" feeling free! Boys and their unders! :)
